Ryan and Aaron team up to lead top students through the nation's most difficult and prestigious writing competitions.

This two-hour, in-person class caps at four students and requires intensive in-class participation and at-home research.

Alpha Club is typically invitation only. However, we do accept applications.

Schedule

Workshop

Aaron leads the workshop portion of Alpha Club from 7–8 p.m. This includes a brief lecture on critical writing techniques and an in-class, student-led discussion of each student's work. Aaron also provides extensive essay feedback between sessions.

Research

Ryan guides students through research from 8–9 p.m. This involves reading advanced academic papers and discussing how to implement their claims and research into the students' own competition essays.
